Updating device software

This article applies to all Tru-Test 5000, WOW2, EziWeigh and S indicators and all EID readers

You should update the software on your Tru-Test device regularly to take advantage of the latest features and improvements. Updating the software is done using Data Link PC software.

To update the device software:

  1. Connect the device to your PC using the cable supplied.

  2. Launch Data Link on your PC.

  3. Click Tools and Updates.

  4. Tick Check for Updates Automatically, then click Check for Updates and follow the prompts:

Note: When updating device software, the data on your device will remain intact. However, we strongly recommend transferring important data onto your PC first.
