Check the gateway is OK and that active tags are connected

During troubleshooting, you may want to check that the gateway is functioning correctly and view the status of your active tags.

How can I check that the gateway is on and working?

In the mobile app, go to My Devices, then Activity monitoring gateways. Tap on the gateway and view the Last seen time. If the gateway has not been seen for a while (e.g. a few hours), it may be offline and you will need to troubleshoot the gateway.

How can I check that an active collar tag or active ear tag is sending data?

Perform this check when you know that animals have been within range of the gateway recently.

In the mobile app, go to My devices, Active Tags then Active Tags again. View the list of all active tags. Active tags not seen by the gateway yet or not seen recently will appear at the top of the list. If an active tag has not been seen for an unexpected period of time, draft out the animal and re-assign its active tag.
