During troubleshooting, you may want to check that the gateway is functioning correctly and view the status of active devices.

How can I check that the gateway is on and working?

In the mobile app, go to My Devices, then Activity monitoring gateways. Tap on the gateway and view the Last seen time. If the gateway has not been seen for a while (e.g. a few hours), it may be offline and you will need to troubleshoot the gateway.

How can I check that an active collar or active ear tag is sending data?

Perform this check when you know that animals have been within range of the gateway recently.

In the mobile app, go to My devices, Activity devices then Active Tags. View the list of active tags recently seen. To view a specific animal, from the Home page, tap on Animals. Search for an animal ID. If an active device has not been seen in the last hour, draft out the animal and re-assign the active device to the animal.
