Datamars Livestock

If you're anywhere within Wi-Fi range, you can upload sessions to Datamars Livestock directly from your XR5000, ID5000 or JR5000 indicator. ​

On the Home screen, select Wi-Fi Send Data, then Send to Datamars Livestock. 💡 Don't see this option? You may need to use Data Link PC software to <a href="https://support.livestock.datamars.com/en/articles/9949552-updating-the-5000-indicator-s-software">update the firmware on your 5000 indicator.</a>

Enter your Datamars Livestock login details.

Select the sessions you want to send, select a farm (if you have more than one farm) and send the sessions to Datamars Livestock.

1. Power on your 5000 indicator.

2. On the Home screen, select Wi-Fi Send Data, then Send to Datamars Livestock. 💡 Don't see this option? You may need to use Data Link PC software to <a href="https://support.livestock.datamars.com/en/articles/9949552-updating-the-5000-indicator-s-software">update the firmware on your 5000 indicator.</a>

3. Connect to a nearby Wi-Fi network.

4. Enter your Datamars Livestock login details.

5. Select the sessions you want to send, select a farm (if you have more than one farm) and send the sessions to Datamars Livestock.

💡 Out on the farm and not within Wi-Fi range? You can <a href="https://support.livestock.datamars.com/en/articles/12872295-sending-a-session-to-datamars-livestock-from-the-datamars-pro-mobile-app">use the Datamars Pro mobile app</a> instead.

If sessions do not appear in the Datamars Livestock website <a href="https://monitoring.livestock.datamars.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">monitoring.livestock.datamars.com</a> as expected, they may have been transferred to the old Datamars Livestock legacy website <a href="https://app.livestock.datamars.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">app.livestock.datamars.com</a>. To stop this happening, <a href="https://support.livestock.datamars.com/en/articles/9949552-updating-the-5000-indicator-s-software">update the firmware on your 5000 indicator</a> and try again.
