Datamars Livestock helps you to comply with New Zealand NAIT requirements by allowing you to directly update records for dead animals.
📝 Before you record dead animals in NAIT, you should enter your NAIT account details.
To record dead animals in NAIT:
Click on Sessions and select a session containing records for dead animals.
Click on Upload to NAIT.
Select Registering animals as 'dead'.
Make sure that the NAIT number matches the property that the transactions are occurring on. Complete the details about the Slaughtering and Disposal method, enter the Date of Death and click Send to NAIT.
The Sessions screen will update to show sessions which have been Sent.
You will be sent a transaction receipt from NAIT. Check the summary carefully and resolve any issues with NAIT directly.Repeat the process for any other sessions you want to send.
📝 You can only upload sessions to NAIT one at a time.
📝 Only animals with EIDs can be included in a NAIT transaction.
