Datamars Livestock helps you to comply with Australian NLIS requirements by allowing you to send animal movements directly to the national registry.
You can save your NLIS details in your farm settings so you don't have to enter the details each time you make a transaction.
To save your NLIS details in your farm settings:
Click on Farm Settings.
Click on National Registry (NLIS).
Click on NLIS Settings
Complete the fields and click Login.
💡 If you don't see the National Registry (NLIS) option in Farm Settings, this is because your farm address is not set to Australia. Click on Farm Settings, General and Edit farm details to correct the farm address.
💡 If you have multiple farms, you need to have multiple farms set up in Datamars Livestock, then you need to complete the NLIS details for each individual farm.
To create a new farm in the Datamars Livestock web app:
While logged into your primary farm, in the top left-hand corner, click on your farm name and choose +New farm:
Complete the NLIS details for the new farm.
Now when you log in to register an NLIS transaction (whether in the Datamars Livestock web app or Datamars Pro mobile app) you need to make sure you are logged into the correct farm.
