Changing the Wi-Fi network an energizer is connected to using Datamars Pro

You can change the Wi-Fi network your energizer is connected to using Datamars Pro

This article applies to:

  • U20000W, U15000W, U15000W-E Unigizers

  • 31000W, 46000W, 86000W Mains Energizers*

* If you previously used the Datamars Livestock mobile app with your energizer, download the Datamars Pro mobile app for improved performance. Log in using your old credentials, no further setup is required.

📝 This procedure can only be done using the Datamars Pro mobile app, not the Datamars Livestock web app.

When you first register a connected energizer, you set the Wi-Fi network you wanted the energizer to connect to. You may need to change the Wi-Fi network.

✋ To complete this procedure, you need to be beside the energizer in order to establish a Bluetooth® connection.

Before you start:

  1. Check that the Bluetooth setting is enabled on your phone.

  2. Position yourself beside the energizer (within 2 m/6').

To change the Wi-Fi network the energizer is connected to:

  1. In the Devices screen, scroll down to the Fence Monitoring panel and tap on Energizers. All energizers registered to the farm are listed.

  2. The energizer will be listed at the top, within Bluetooth range.

  3. Tap Connect.

  4. Tap Settings.

  5. Tap Change network.

  6. Select the network you want to connect to and enter the password:
