You can change the way you receive notifications and the types of notifications you receive for the Dairy Drafter.

You can receive notifications to alert you if the Dairy Drafter (Sort Gate) goes offline and when it goes back online again. This may happen if there is an internet outage or a power cut.

By default, you will receive push notifications to the mobile phone associated with your Datamars Livestock account. You can also opt to receive notifications to an email address. Notifications can only be configured in the web app, not the mobile app.

To configure the notifications you receive using the web app:

  1. Click on your name in the top, right-hand corner and select Notification settings.

  2. Select whether you want to receive Email notifications or Push notifications (mobile).

  3. Tick the individual notifications you want to receive:

If you have opted to receive push notifications to your mobile phone, you also need to make sure that notifications are enabled in the Datamars Livestock app settings.

To enable notifications on an Android phone:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Datamars Livestock > Permissions.

  2. Set Notifications to ON.

To enable notifications on an iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > scroll down and tap on Datamars Livestock.

  2. Tap on Notifications and turn on Allow Notifications.
