Removing an active tag

You can remove an active tag and re-use it on another animal or store it for later use.

Active collar tags and active ear tags are re-usable. An active tag can be removed if an animal is leaving the property or if the active tag is to be attached to a different animal.

Caution! Before removing an active tag, the animal must be secured in a head bail, lockup, treatment stall, rotary stall or yard race.
