The Datamars Livestock web app provides different views of your animals to allow you to make informed on-farm decisions.

By default, many screens show real-time (current) data. The easiest way to access current data is on the Home screen or Dashboard. For example:

  • Animals in Heat - shows a list of animals currently on heat.

  • Health (Last 24 hrs) - shows a list of animals with possible health issues in the last 24 hours.

Sometimes, it is helpful to analyse past data. You can either change the filters in the above screens or view all historic information in Datamars Livestock in these ways:

Viewing all animal records

You can view all animal records in the Animals screen. From there, use the filter to view a subset of animals by their Reproductive Status.

For example, you could filter all animals which:

  • are not pregnant or

  • have been inseminated or

  • are marked 'do not breed'.

To view all animal records then apply a filter:

  1. Click on My Herd then Animals.

  2. Click on Filters and apply one or more criteria, as required.

Viewing groups

You can view all animal groups in the Groups screen. From there, use the filters to view a subset of animals by their Reproductive Status.

For example, you could filter all animals which:

  • are not pregnant or

  • have been inseminated or

  • are marked 'do not breed'.

To view animals in a particular group then apply a filter:

  1. Click on My Herd then Groups.

  2. Click on a particular group.

  3. Click on Filters and apply one or more criteria, as required.

Viewing all events

You can view all recorded events in the Events screen. From there, use the filter to view a subset of animals.

For example, you could filter all animals that have recently been:

  • On heat or

  • Identified as having a possible health issue or

  • Identified as 'early anestrous' (35-50 days with no heat after calving) or 'at risk anestrous' (more than 50 days with no heat after calving) or

  • Identified as having irregular heats

To view all events and apply a filter:

  1. Click on My Herd then Events.

  2. Click on Filters and apply one or more criteria, as required.
