The Dairy Drafter allows you to automatically draft (sort) animals as they leave the parlour/milking shed.

Animals can be identified using their active tags or using their EID tags, depending on the system installed.

To set up for using the Dairy Drafter:

  1. Assign and attach active tags (active collar tags or active ear tags) or EID tags to all animals.

  2. The farm owner or manager needs to log in to the Datamars Livestock web app and invite users to their farm.

  3. Every staff member must install the Datamars Livestock Monitoring mobile app on their mobile phone and accept their invitation to join the farm.

After this, you are ready to set up a group of animals to be drafted.
