Getting sessions into Datamars Livestock

Different methods are available for uploading session files to Datamars Livestock, depending on which Tru-Test device you have

Updated yesterday

The method for uploading session files from your Tru-Test device to Datamars Livestock depends on the device you have:

XR5000 or ID5000 indicator

The easiest ways to upload data from your XR5000 or ID5000 is to upload directly to Datamars Livestock from your 5000 series device via Wi-Fi at home, or use the Datamars Pro mobile app when out and about.

You can also upload session files from a Windows computer using Data Link for PC by connecting your device to your computer.

XRS2i/XRS2 or SRS2i/SRS2 EID stick reader

The easiest way to upload data from an XRS2i/XRS2 or SRS2i/SRS2 is by using the Datamars Pro mobile app.

You can also upload session files from a Windows computer using Data Link for PC by connecting your device to your computer.

EziWeigh7i indicator

The easiest way to upload data from an EziWeigh7i indicator is by using the Datamars Pro mobile app.

You can also upload session files from a Windows computer using Data Link for PC by connecting your device to your computer.

XRP2i/XRP2 panel reader

The easiest way to upload data from an XRP2i/XRP2* is by using the Datamars Pro mobile app (*XRP2 only supported in Datamars Pro mobile app for Android).

You can also upload session files from a Windows computer using Data Link for PC by connecting your device to your computer.

S3 indicator

If you have an S3 indicator, weighing data is not recorded on the indicator.

Instead, you can use the Datamars Pro mobile app to record and upload data to Datamars Livestock.

Alternatively, you can use Data Link PC software.

📝 If you have an older Tru-Test device listed below, you will need to use using Data Link PC software to transfer data off your device and into Datamars Livestock:

  • S2 weigh scale indicator

  • XRS EID stick reader

  • EziWeigh7 indicator

  • 3000 indicator
