Datamars Livestock helps you to comply with Australian NLIS requirements by allowing you to directly update records for dead animals.
📝 Before you record dead animals in NLIS, you should enter your NLIS account details.
To record dead animals in NLIS:
Click on Sessions and select a session records for dead animals.
Click on Upload to NLIS.
Select Update status to dead.
Make sure that the PIC number matches the property that the transactions are occurring on. Complete the Date of Death and click Send to NLIS.
The Sessions screen will update to show sessions which have been Sent.
You will be sent a transaction receipt from NLIS. Check the summary carefully and resolve any issues with NLIS directly.Repeat the process for any other sessions you want to send.
📝 You can only upload sessions to NLIS one at a time.
📝 Only animals with EIDs can be included in a NLIS transaction.
