BETA - The mating report

This report is for mating time, allowing you to compare animal performance on your farm against a benchmark

Updated over a week ago

Mating reports are generated weekly throughout the mating period. During the first three weeks, the key focus is achieving a 90% submission rate, a critical target linked to a high 6-week in-calf rate.

Your Planned Start of Mating (PSM) date is shown in the top-right corner of the report. If this is incorrect, please call 0800 243 282 to have it updated.

Submission rate graph

  • The blue bars show your daily submission rate.

  • The yellow line represents the target needed to reach a 90% submission rate.

View performance of each calving group

  • Calving Group – split by early, middle, late and very late calving dates

  • Total Cows – number of cows in each calving group

  • Total Cows is then split:

    • Submitted – Cows submitted in the last 7 days.

    • Not Submitted – Eligible if cycled last 30 days but not mated yet.

    • Not Cycling Not Submitted – Eligible if hasn’t cycled last 30 days and not mated.

    • Returned – Number of cows returned to mating.
