Check that the Tru-Test device is not connected to another device

When you power on the Tru-Test device, the Bluetooth symbol/LED should be OFF. If it is ON, you will need to unpair/forget the Bluetooth connection (see below), then retry pairing in the Datamars Pro app.

The phone's Bluetooth setting must be ON.
The Location and Bluetooth™ settings must be ON for the Datamars Pro app.

Your mobile device must be running Android 11 or later, or iOS 16 or later.
Try unpairing (forgetting) the Bluetooth device
Try unpairing (forgetting) the Bluetooth device
If Bluetooth was working previously but has stopped functioning, open your phone’s Bluetooth settings and unpair or “forget” the device, then try pairing it again.
Android smartphones - forgetting a Bluetooth device
Go to Settings / Connections
Tap Bluetooth.
Tap the Settings icon beside the device you want to unpair, then tap Unpair.
Apple iPhones - forgetting a Bluetooth device
Go to Settings / Bluetooth.
Select the device you want to unpair, then tap Forget This Device.
After performing all of the above checks, attempt to connect your device to the Datamars Pro mobile app again.
