The Datamars Pro mobile app helps you to comply with Australian NLIS requirements by allowing you to send sessions to NLIS directly from your mobile phone.
You can:
send animals
receive animals
register animals as dead
Whether you are a:
Producer
Agent OR
Sale yard
📝Before you can send sessions to NLIS, you must log into your farm in Datamars Livestock in Datamars Pro. Your farm location must also be set to Australia in the Datamars Livestock web app. Otherwise, the NLIS option will not be available. See Configuring the Datamars Pro mobile app for NLIS transactions.
To send a session to NLIS:
Connect a device to Datamars Pro and transfer sessions to the app.
On the Home screen, tap on Sessions in the app.
Select a session you want to send to NLIS.
Tap Upload to NLIS OR tap NLIS Settings and enter your NLIS details if you haven't done this already.
Select a transaction type:
Sending transfer (animals are leaving the property)
Receiving transfer (animals are arriving on the property)
Depending on the transaction type, different fields will appear. Make sure that the NLIS PIC number matches the property that the transactions are occurring on. If you are performing a sending or receiving transaction, you will need the NLIS PIC number of the other property involved. Complete the remaining fields and tap Upload.
The All Sessions screen will update to show sessions which have been Uploaded to NLIS.
You will be sent a transaction receipt from NLIS. Check the summary carefully and resolve any issues with NLIS directly.Repeat the process for any other sessions you want to send.
📝 You can only upload sessions to NLIS one at a time.
📝 Only animals with EIDs can be included in an NLIS transaction.
