Before you can use Datamars Livestock (web app) and Datamars Pro (mobile app), you need to have an account in the Datamars Livestock platform.
📝 The web app and mobile app use the same Datamars Livestock platform. The same login details are used for both.
There are two ways to get set up, depending on the product you have:
For products that require a technical installer (Active Tag solution, WOW and Dairy Drafter/Sort Gate), during the installation, the installer will have created an admin account for the farm manager. In this case, the farm manager can simply log in to Datamars Livestock and invite other workers to the farm. There is no need to create a new account.
For products that do not require a technical installer (weigh scale indicators, EID readers, fence monitoring and connected energizers), the farm manager or owner must create an account then invite other workers to the farm. An account can be created in the web app or mobile app.
To create an account for the Datamars Livestock platform in the web app

To create an account in the web app:
Click Sign up here.
Fill in the required fields, then click Register:
A verification message will be sent to your email address. Click on the link.
Log in to Datamars Livestock using your new account details.
Click on your name in the top right hand corner, click on My Farms then +New Farm. Fill in the required fields then click Save farm.

To register an account in the mobile app:
On the Home screen, tap Register.

Once you have created an account and logged in, send an invitation to all staff, consultants and vets. Everyone must have their own login.
📝 Only someone with Admin permissions (e.g. the farm owner or manager) can invite users and this must be done in the Datamars Livestock Monitoring web app. Users cannot be invited in the mobile app.
