When your farm was first set up in Datamars Livestock, an administrator's account will have been created for the farm owner or manager.
The administrator must now log in to Datamars Livestock (web app) and send out invitations to all staff, consultants, vets who require access to the farm.
📝 Only someone with Admin permissions (i.e. the farm owner or manager) can invite users and this must be done in the web app, not the mobile app.
Permissions
When creating a user, different permission levels can be applied to staff members, depending on their role and the products being used:
Viewers - can only:
View and export information in the web app and mobile app (all products)
Set up your own notifications in the web app and mobile app (all products)
Transfer sessions from a device into the web app and mobile app (weigh scale indicators or EID readers)
Members - can do a few extra things:
Assign and attach active tags (Active Tag solution)
Add or remove animals from a draft list in the web app and mobile app (Active Tag, Walk Over Weighing, Dairy Drafter/Sort Gate)
Move an animal into a different group in the web app and the mobile app (Active Tag, Walk Over Weighing, weigh scale indicators or EID readers).
Mark an animal as sold or died in the web app or mobile app (Active Tag, Walk Over Weighing, weigh scale indicators or EID readers)
Import sessions into the web app directly from a PC (Walk Over Weighing, weigh scale indicators or EID readers)
Admins - can do all of the above plus:
Set up and configure your farm in the web app and the mobile app (all products)
Invite and edit users (all products)
Create and edit animal groups (Active Tag, Walk Over Weighing, weigh scale indicators or EID readers)
Send national traceability transactions e.g. NAIT, NLIS, SNIG, Senasa (weigh scale indicators or EID readers)

What a user should do when they receive an invitation.
To invite a new user in Datamars Livestock:
Click on Farm Settings. In the Users section, you will see all existing users registered to your farm. In the Invitations section, click Invite users to your farm.
Enter the user's email address and select the permission level you would like them to have. Click Add more to invite other users, if required.
Click Send invitations.
📝 Once a user has followed the steps in the invitation email, they will appear in the list of users. However, if they have not accepted the invitation within 30 days, their invitation will expire and you will need to send them another invitation.
