Depending on your draft configuration, the draft list may contain:
animals in heat, ready for insemination
animals with potential health issues, requiring a health check/treatment
or both.
If you have a drafting gate integration or a Tru-Test Dairy Drafter/Sort Gate, the draft list is automatically sent to the auto-drafting gate. If not, a draft list can be exported as a .csv file in the web app.
Animals in the draft list because they are in heat
These animals are in heat, at the optimum time for insemination within their oestrus cycle. We recommend insemination at some point during the green insemination window displayed.
Animals in the draft list for health reasons
These animals have possible health issues and we recommend a health check or treatment. Investigate sub-clinical mastitis, lameness etc using your normal methods e.g. strip and test before milking, check feeding, check milk yield, check temperature.
Viewing the draft list
To view the draft list in the mobile app:
On the Dashboard, tap on a draft time.
The draft list is displayed:

📝 You can click export the draft list to a .csv file by clicking Export in the web app.
