Animals appear in the Health report when their behaviours have changed. Rumination, feeding, resting, standing and lying behaviours are monitored every hour and every day for individual animals, and the animal against their peers in the same group. Animals in the health report should be checked daily.
Health report insights
The health report provides detailed information on all animals which have had a recent change in their behaviours:
1 | Duration | How old the health issue is. |
2 | Health index | The lower the health index percentage, the greater the change in behaviour. Health index percentages are coloured to indicate:

There are some practical ways of utilising these health insights:
Viewing details about an individual animal
Click on an animal record to view details about an individual animal. For example, you could open an animal record and click on a health event to see more details:
Using a health action list
You can create and save a rule to select a subset of animals from the health report for follow-up actions. The health action list can then be used as the basis to draft and check animals. See Using a health action list.
Viewing animals with possible health issues
To view a list of animals with possible health issues using the mobile app:
On the Dashboard, tap Health.
In the Action List, view animals to follow up on if you have set up a health action list. Tap on Rules and filter by the rule you want to view.
Tap on the All Health List to view a list of all animals with possible health issues in the last 24 hours OR
Tap on an animal record to view more detail. Animals can be drafted out and checked using normal methods.
To view a list of animals with possible health issues using the web app:
From the Home screen, click on Health (last 24 hours).
The Health Action List will display a list of all animals with health issues in the last 24 hours.
View each animal's health issue and see when it was detected.
Click on the Animal ID to see more details OR Click on a rule under the Health Action List if you have set up an extra filtering rule.
Animals can be drafted out and checked using normal methods.
