After animals have finished passing through the Dairy Drafter/Sort Gate, you can check to see which animals have been drafted (sorted).

If an animal has not been drafted, check the following:

  • Did the animal did pass through the drafter?

  • Did the animal's ID get read? The active tag or EID tag may have fallen off OR the animal's ID may not match the details in Datamars Livestock?

  • Was the animal added to the draft list after she had already passed through the Dairy Drafter?

To check which animals have been drafted:

  1. Click on Drafting and select the draft list you want to examine.
Note: The draft needs to have occurred in the past.

  2. In the list, click on the Drafted column to sort animals animals by whether they have been drafted/not drafted.

Note: If an animal was automatically added to a draft list for heat or health but was NOT drafted during a milking session, she will automatically be added to the next relevant draft list, provided that she is still on heat or has a health issue. This does not apply to animals which were manually added to the draft list.
